A tradition of excellence since 1955
Founded in 1955 by Normand Couture, Quebec Balsams Export is a Quebec-based family-owned company specializing in premium Christmas trees. Driven by passion and expertise, Mr. Couture pioneered emerging markets that helped build the company’s strong reputation, both locally and internationally.
Following his passing, his son Gérald took over, further expanding the company’s growth and development. international markets, including Panama, Asia, and several other countries.

In 2021, with no family succession in place, the company was acquired by Groupe Gilbert, owner of Enjoy Tree. They chose to uphold the standards of excellence that have defined Quebec Balsams Export, while ensuring the continuityof its international Christmas tree export operations.
